There is a subtle difference between "genning 200 identical logos in two minutes, choosing the first one and not caring", and "spending a whole afternoon finetuning variables, learning new tools, methods of inpainting and compositing, and appreciating every picture that takes shape before your eyes.

The base problem is not "AI is not art." It is "Who carries creative decisions ?" When a director spends tens of hours choosing, directing, upscaling, compositing, inpainting, finetuning variables, correcting incoherences, he is pouring the same amount of work you do when you paint on a canvas.
