Currently play-testing our upcoming game: The Resolute Society. Pulp superheroes face off against Mythos/eldritch horror, in the 1920s. Here’s my character sheet - Kit Ashwood, an heiress who came back from the dead. I was inspired both by Katherine Hepburn and Amelia Earhart when making her.

Next up from #23rdLetter: Psychokinesis! (Curious as to why the power wasn't called Telekinesis? Us too! Turns out that tele- just means remote, so things like drones are actually performing telekinesis. You need the psycho- at the start to let everyone know you're doing it with your mind. TIL!)

Next up in our list of Esper Talents from the #23rdLetter is arguably the most devastating (and cinematic): Pyrokinesis! All psychic abilities are hard to control, but this is probably the only one that takes on a life of its own after it's unleashed.

One of the most common psychic talents depicted in the sources that inspired The #23rdLetter is Telepathy. Being able to know what other people are thinking is part of it, but Telepaths are capable of so much more.

In 1995, Crucible Design published its first RPG title called 'The 23rd Letter', and after the first edition sold out, followed it up with a second edition in 1997. We are excited to be bringing the third edition of this game to the market in 2026, featuring an entirely new system and mechanics!
