Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 12/01/2026Mag was very good this year as it always is. Being outside the harbor was horrible and the shuttle timing sucked, so I felt like I lost a lot of time at the con itself. But I still had fun with friends and have good times to look back on. 💖 010
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 12/01/2026Didn’t post anything on Sunday at all. The long drive home took us out quickly as soon as we got home. And despite sleeping for 8 hours, I’m going to spend the day napping and reading. 100
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 10/01/2026Saturday had a rough start for me (yay chronic illness) so I’m in Camille for a bit. Here to spread the gospel of Dislyte. 160

Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 09/01/2026it’s only Friday and I’m already dry as fuck and I have no idea what is going on. 110
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 29/12/2025If they need anything at all during con, lmk! I will have all of my meds and accessibility things with me all weekend. And if they need help with their cosplay in any way, I will gladly lend a hand! 🫶 000
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 29/12/2025book 37 Heavenbreaker by Sara Wolf ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.75 Drawn in by the premise and a comment relating it to Pacific Rim, and fed by a deep evolving plot and a decent cliffhanger. I also couldn’t help but think of RR in some scenes. Already have the sequel preordered. 000
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 29/12/2025book 36 The Snow Child by Eowyn Ivey ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A perfect seasonal read. The character arcs and growth were great to see unfold, and although parts of it dragged, by the end I was in love with this family. Just enough fairytale magic mixed with the Alaskan wilderness. 100
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 29/12/2025book 35 Follow Me to the Yew Tree by Desiree M Niccoli ⭐️⭐️⭐️.75 Another short story I enjoyed enough for the short length of it. It had a good premise and basis for the fmc and I enjoyed how it played out. 100
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 29/12/2025book 34 Ledge by Stacey McEwan ⭐️⭐️⭐️.37 An overly stereotypical romantasy with a headstrong fmc and a winged dark brooding mmc. Premise and world building were ok but nothing truly gripped me through the story. Some of the side characters were far more interesting at times. 100
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 29/12/2025book 33 The Wood at Midwinter by Suzanna Clark ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A cute short story perfect for the winter and pre-Christmas season. I loved the illustrations throughout and easily could have kept reading this if it was longer. 100

Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 05/12/2025I’m not super close friends with her, but honestly, I think Fey would love to hear this. That the little noodle sharing helped even a little bit. 💖 020

Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 05/12/2025books 31 & 32 are the first two volumes of Ava’s Demon by Michelle Fus I’m not really rating comics or manga I read. I remember reading most of the series thus far online and I loved returning to it after a few years, and I’m excited to see how it goes forward. (still want to cos demon Ava) 100
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 05/12/2025book 30 The Blanket Cats by Kiyoshi Shigematsu ⭐️⭐️⭐️.75 This was advertised as a cozy book and I hoped it would be like Before the Coffee Gets Cold, but it didn’t feel like either. I understood the lessons of each story, but it didn’t feel cozy or warm in any way. I did like the all cats though. 100
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 05/12/2025book 29 Ten Thousand Stitches by Olivia Atwater ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 I am turning into a cozy lover and it’s fantastic. This was immensely warm and sweet and I enjoyed the relationship so so much. I may not be a big regency fan, but this fae world mixed in is great. 100
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 05/12/2025book 28 Spells For Lost Things by Jenna Evans Welch ⭐️⭐️⭐️.75 I probably would have enjoyed this much more when I was the right age for it, but it was just too YA for adult me. Gave some cozy vibes in the setting and bits of magic, which is the main plus for it. 100
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 05/12/2025book 27 Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents by Lindsay C. Gibson ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 I don’t read self help or nonfiction often. But life events drew me to this. It gave interesting concepts and insight, but we’ll see if it’s anything of a “guide” for me going forward with my current mindset. 110
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 05/12/2025book 26 Ghost of a Chance by Katherine Garbera ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 I had hoped for a cute seasonal romcom with supernatural parts and… 😬 The entire relationship started on hooking up and it was entirely based on that thereafter with little chemistry. One of the worst and most lackluster endings I’ve read. 100
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 05/12/2025book 25 The Night Hunt by Alexandra Christo ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 Good world building and an interesting concept, but the execution was lacking. The “twist” about the MMC was entirely predictable and the big battle and ending were very basic for how much build up happened. 100
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 05/12/2025book 24 How the King of Elfhame Learned to Hate Stories by Holly Black ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cute little stories and illustrations to follow up after Queen of Nothing. I enjoyed stepping into the world and seeing the characters again. 100
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 05/12/2025book 23 What the Woods Keep by Katya de Becerra ⭐️⭐️⭐️.75 A weird mix of science and fantasy, like it couldn’t decide which to be. It was an interesting concept but the way it tried to make everything scientific was just weird and didn’t work too well in the end. 100
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 05/11/2025book 22 Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil by V.E. Schwab ⭐️⭐️⭐️.75 I was so excited for this read and saved it for spooky season (despite somehow not knowing it was vampires??). The first half was fantastic. The second half lost me and I struggled to finish. The ending was lackluster and flat. 100
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 05/11/2025book 21 The Queen of Nothing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 The best of the trilogy by far. The plot peaking, the reuniting and clearing the air, and the character growth were so good. It made me want to continue to the other books in this world. 110
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 05/11/2025book 20 The Wicked King ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Plot picking up more and the romantic moments had me grinning so much. I am indeed a sucker for the cute moments in this book. 100
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 05/11/2025book 19 The Cruel Prince by Holly Black ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I read this forever ago but never continued the series, so I had to reread it to go further. Overall very good, loved the world building and the character tension. 100
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 05/11/2025book 18 Upon A Starlit Tide by Kell Woods ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This hit in such a good way. It gave cozy beachside mermaid vibes and a good plot built up that I enjoyed very much. 100
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 16/08/2025book 17 The Knight and the Moth by Rachel Gillig ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.75 I ate this up. From the opening scenes of the Diviners to traveling the land and learning more about the mythology and magic to the heart-wrenching ending… it was all so good. I need the next book to release immediately. 110
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 16/08/2025book 16 The Enchanted Greenhouse by Sarah Beth Durst ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.75 Stepping back into this world was warm and inviting. I adored the new cast of characters and their story, and the mention of the first book’s characters at the end made me tear up. 100
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 16/08/2025book 15 Half A Soul by Olivia Atwater ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 I’m not a big regency fan, but this short and sweet story was so good. It easily could have been 100 pages longer with more detail of the Fae realm, but it was a good cozy fantasy. I very much want to read the rest of the series. 100
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 20/07/2025book 14 Into A Wicked World by Jordan Riley Swan ⭐️⭐️⭐️.25 I picked this up at the Columbus Book Festival last year and finally got around to reading it. Sadly it didn’t leave a grand impression on me. It wasn’t horrible, but it didn’t stand out to me at all from other books. 111
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 20/07/2025book 13 Light Bringer by Pierce Brown ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.75 While much lighter than DA, this book still gave such shocking moments and immense character development. The wait for Red God is going to be unbearable. 110
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 12/07/2025Good luck have fun!!! I love competition green rooms and meeting the other contestants the most. 💖 020
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 26/06/2025book 12 The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I didn’t love this one as much as The Night Circus but I love her dreamy writing style. The fables and smaller stories between the main chapters were my favorite, and I loved the ending, but I just didn’t care for Zachary and his story much. 100
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 13/06/2025- to the main story, but I do not care much at all for the actual main character and his direct story. so it’s taking a bit of persistence to work through, which is so sad because The Night Circus is one of my favorite books of all time. 😮💨 000
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 13/06/2025🌱 current read I started The Starless Sea on May 1st then didn’t read for most of the month leading up to ColossalCon. trying now to get back to it and hopefully finish this book this weekend. it sadly hasn’t been going super well. I absolutely love the ballads and anecdotal stories that tie in - 100

Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 17/05/2025book 11 Dark Age by Pierce Brown ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 What an absolutely wild ride. My jaw was dropped for most of it. Some parts were a dredge to get through, but the last part flew by. Def looking forward to the next one and even more madness. 100
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 17/05/2025book 10 Before the Coffee Gets Cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 An easy read to contrast DA. Felt cozy and warm and gave strong Ghibli vibes with each individual story and their lessons. I will definitely be going for the rest of the series. 100
Bri 🌙✨ @arcadiandreams.bsky.social · 28/04/2025I am the equivalent of the meme of goth girls showing bright pink socks to co trash their black clothes. Only mine specifically is Bluey merch against my black clothing. 010
