We had a blast being a part of @liretro.bsky.social last weekend! Thanks to all the friendly folk that came by, played our games, chatted, joined our discord, picked up merch, and shared the joy of the arcade with us!

You all once again proved that your love of Nightmare Kart is too powerful for our humble contraption. The shifter base broke right off! So @mattfryed.bsky.social busted out the big guns. The new console has an all metal interior, soon to be welded together. Now it'll really be able to take a hit 🤘

You all really love Nightmare Kart! The trigger stopped engaging - a small bump that presses the switch has literally been worn down from usage.That little silver spot on the trigger used to be about a millimeter thick, now it's completely flat. We'll have a fix before @magfest.org, don't worry 😎

Somehow, the "glass" and rim around the weapon light indicator went missing, so we remade, refinished, and reinstalled a new one that should hopefully be a lot harder to remove/punch through

What did we need to do? Well, first off we needed to replace the shifter. For reasons too lengthy and boring to post, it had become loose. We replaced it entirely and now it's nice and snappy and feels great
