I pre-ordered the blue marble. Will be picking up a CD, too, obviously!

I don’t know how I just heard Sam Cooke’s version of this song for the first time today, but this just blew me away. His incomparable vocals, the slightly ominous tone of the song, the eerie voice in the background. This is truly an underplayed classic. youtu.be/ZDTI2Muqx68?...

Remembering how I didn’t go to this, and how I’ll never get over the regret of seeing the Temple of the Dog reunion.

Glen Hansard funeral: A wicker coffin, a grieving widow and a son too young to be there

The service for the Ballymun musician felt more like a party where he was the only one missing from the celebrations

My latest poor financial decision: Yesterday, I bought a ticket to see Eddie Vedder at Ohana Fest a few days before I move to a new house. (That’s a 7-hr flight for me) Just needed to be around people who appreciated Glen.

Not sure where, if anywhere, the music community has gone online, so setting this up in case nobody returns to Twittertown.
