Donald Trump and Elon Musk were willing to shut down the government in order to recklessly increase the debt ceiling to get a big tax cut for the rich next year, but I’m glad that Democrats and the American people didn’t let that happen.

Support for Trump’s tariffs means higher prices on everything. Gas, food, housing, everything. Every politician should be asked if they support higher prices on everything due to Trump’s tariffs.

PLEASE REMEMBER: trump's win percentage is shaping up to be the third SMALLEST in history. He does NOT have a mandate, no matter what he says. That means we push back against every single batshit crazy policy he tries to pass. EVERYTHING. Mandate my ass.

Per @rodneycwilson.bsky.social She got 48.2% of the vote. He got 49.9% of the vote. This *is* a tragic win for trumpists, but this *is not* a mandate for trumpism. Don’t let the GOP lie about a “mandate” to justify their ends.

The truth is, none of us really know what the next four years will look like. It’s incredibly difficult to predict what happens next. It does not feel good.
