This is why funding needs to get out of politics. We can never have s level playing field as long as the wealthy can assert power like this. It would be really awesome if another provider could step into the market. But that is locked up too. You know, monopoly.

We need a Constitutionsl amendment to limit campaign donations and spending. It will help bring in more diverse candidates as well as fix the ruling class being able to buy democracy.

I want real change to prevent the behavior from occuring. We have to fix what is broken to prevent it from occurring again. A rebuke is a strongly worded letter. People need to go to jail and legislation needs to occur to fix the broken infrastructure.

Partisan politics is dangerous. They are the factions warned of in the Federalist Papers, IMHO. People make it their identity, even when actions don't align with values, e.g., there is nothing conservative, family values, Christian, small govt, privacy, fiscal responsibility going on now in the GOP.
