Staff at the Indian where we're eating redirected me from walking towards where it turned out the men's would be, instead towards the ladies. Terfs, if you want to sue, it's the Fuck You tandoori grill, Get Fucked St, London.

Lurgy continues. Main part isn't as bad as it has been. Suspect bike ride will need to get pushed out 2 weeks :( Prescription done, but must remember to budget it as 500 rather than 450 now - 485 this time, but hasn't been 450 for a while now!

Today's aesthetic can only be described as "Robert Palmer: Addicted To Love" video, minus the guitar. And the red lips. Until just now, since the wife pointed it out. Who am I to let her down?

We have 3 kitties! This one is Parton. Butter wouldn't melt in his mouth. Nor would it in either of the other brothers. Parton is wise. Parton has learnt the value of scritches. Oddie and Curry have not yet.

Good evening. Today has been a day of driving, wedding guesting, eating, and more driving. Oh, and obviously scrubbing up all good like.

Selfie in which I am looking absolutely amazing in a floral dress with dark pink/magenta tones to it. My face is full of makeup and I am wearing an aquamarine necklace.

Behind me is a wall made of herringbone layout wood pieces, which admittedly makes it actually look like I'm lying on a floor. I can assure you that's not the case ;-)

What's the only thing that can top sitting in traffic on the M25 and A303? That's right folks, it's sitting in traffic on the M25 and A303 in the other direction as well! Basically my day has been London -> Frome -> London. Hey, least I got to look like this all day!

GM, lovely people! Back to work and back on call after 2 weeks off here. Week one was festivals and camping. Week 2 was wife's surgery, GCSE results and finished it off yesterday by seeing if I could ride the 110km to Margate from Dartford.

GM! Early start today.. Wife in for surgery later at 7am, so up for her morning coffee whilst she still can. Once she's in, not sure what time she'll be out and recovered from the general but in the meantime will just see what jobs I can get sorted off my list.

Lots of "delighful" dark hairs resurfacing on my face. Brain is obviously convinced that T is trying to taunt me and that my deca's worn off early. Hopefully they're just hairs that laser didn't do a proper job on. Still, now it means there's loads of fresh darks for the electro when I resume.

Good morning.. Yesterday's daftness is as follows: Two lovely sunburnt angel wings from where I though what I was riding in yesterday was a regular and not, in fact a racer back. Subsequently I missed the suncream on the bits that I thought were covered. [facepalm.gif]

Colleague offered to cover the phones for a bit, so back along the Thames path & Ridgeway with my wife it was last night :).

Photo of a hand in a pink glove on a bicycle handlebar. The handlebar has a purple handlebar bag mounted on the front. The bike is moving down a gravel trail, and on the left are signs of a road and a housing block.. The sky is clear and blue, and in the distance, there is another bicycle riding the path, and beyond that a mobile tower off to the side. The grass either side of the trail is browning and dry.

More things to tweak and get right but, yeah, okay- I get it :) I remembered to release my feet before all the moments I needed them but need to master telling which way up the pedals are and clipping in without looking down. TBF, i need to learn that by feel to find the flat side as well.

We eventually did the handfasting ceremony with friends a month later.. We tweaked the wording to say "one year and one day, less one month" lol. And yes, that also means it's our 21st wedding anniversary today!

The back of a woman with curly blonde hair's head on the left of the frame. A wooden broomstick cuts across the middle of the frame, and there is a red ribbon in shot.

One option to consider as a response to toilet challenges.. Practice your best foreign language version of "I'm sorry, I don't understand. I don't speak English" in whatever language you can sound fluent in. Or just do the Manuel "Que?" and shrug before walking off.

Last night's ride photo. We stopped on this corner because 22 years previously we had planned to do a handfasting ceremony here (for one year and one day) - taking us up to our wedding day. Sadly, she ended up in hospital that month so we had to postpone but we still tied the knot at the bedside.

Grassy marshland in the foreground, a small tree sits to the right of the frame. Beyond the marshy grassland, a smaller river flows into a much larger one. In the far background is the light blue sky; with some low streaky clouds. Also in the distance, the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge and northern pylon of the 400 kV Thames Crossing - some of the tallest electricity pylons in the UK.

Oh, fun thing happened on my bike ride down the Thames yesterday! A tiny plane flew into a lamp-post! :)

Photo of a plane coming into land at London City Airport taken from the southern bank of the Thames. The positioning of the plane and the lamp-post give a slight forced perspective effect of the plane being tiny and hitting the post.
