I’m in the minority of liking Ryan Reynolds’ Green Lantern movie (it was okay, good even, but nothing special), but no, we are not going to act like it was better than Lanterns. Seriously, I do not understand people sometimes.

Has anyone ever used Reedsy for their indie writing stuff? How legit is it?

I have watched supergirl a few times now, and I do not remember any mention there at all. There was a SpongeBob joke but I think that was it.

A lot of people are struggling right now. Including your queer and trans fam, and your artists friends, and the people who are both. The mental health pressures are real and the consequences are potentially devastating. Check on your people. Let them know how much you love having them around.

Someone asked me if there’s even a point to my being an indie author if AI is just going to replace me and I’m too unknown to survive. I’d love to say I’m a better writer than AI, but they’re right about me being an unknown. Literary agents should start looking at the indies to find real writers.

They’ve been destroying the country since 2016 for allowing a non-white president to happen, so this doesn’t surprise me.

Two-thirds of Americans support Medicare for All. Americans are done with a healthcare system that puts profits before people. Medicare for All can save 114,000 lives and $1 trillion a year—turns out, progressive policies can be good politics AND good policy.

I heard once that conservatives who consume media don’t absorb nuance or morals or messages, they just connect with the aesthetics of the media they consume. It’s why stuff like “the empire in Star Wars are fascists” and “Superman is an immigrant who is kind” fly over their heads.

As long as the GOP exists, even if there’s a blue tsunami in the midterms, they’ll just prop him and the next Trump up in 2028, 2032, and so on. They need to be driven from politics permanently for abdicating their duty to rein him in.
