Went to share it here for The Occasion and realized I never posted the 2024 sorXa birthday art I did during OC-tober that year. So: #sorXa #MachineAtArms #OC #OCsky

Pencil drawing of 5 people gathered around a table. From left to right: A short bleach-blonde girlthing leaning back with its arms behind its head; a woman with a shaved head and piercings carrying a cake; a tall muscular gynoid with wavy bangs framing her face looking lovingly at her girlfriend; her girlfriend, a heavyset trans woman with a neckerchief and locs in a ponytail, looking lovingly back at her as they hold each other; and a tall muscular man with long sideburns. Text: "Happy birthday sorXa!"

October 16th marks sorXa's in-universe negative 72nd birthday, her (observed) 21st anniversary of existing in one form or another, and MY 4th transiversary!! To celebrate, I've made a pretty big change to her design that I've been considering for a while now :^] #sorXa #MachineAtArms #OC #OCsky

Digitally-colored pencil drawing of sorXa, a tall, muscular gynoid with red hair, a pale face, gold eyes with dark sclerae, and dark purple skin below the neck. She has robotic ears, which are white headphone-like doohickeys, each with chunky telescoping antenna sticking out backwards at a 45 degree angle (think Curly Brace from Cave Story for an easy frame of reference). Three almost UFO or yo-yo shaped drone-satellite-things are orbiting her, golden in color and with three divots on each face (offset on each side so they'd form a hexagon if they were all on one side) and a reddish-goldish-orangeish-whitish crystal in the middle, spinning and orbiting fast enough that they're somewhat blurred. sorXa is glancing to her left with a smirk, her hands positioned as if she's dexterously directing the golden satellites orbiting her. The background is sky blue fading into a purple color toward the bottom, and the border is white and reddish-purple, layered with parts of the image to create a sense of depth.

I greatly enjoy how the layout of the infobox makes it feel very intuitive to read the Profession entry vertically instead of horizontally like the others. She's no hobbyist homosexual, I tells ya (Also GOD I need more Ryfka x Petra injected directly into my bloodstream they're both so pretty aaaaa)

Screenshot of a Toyhouse page's infobox. Text: "Profession", and immediately under it a lesbian pride flag.

Finally finished at least one illustration in the month of May and it is, of course, sorXa my belovèd :^] #MachineAtArms #OC

Digitally-colored pencil drawing of sorXa, a tall, muscular gynoid with a red bobcut and wavy orange bangs framing her pale face, with a matching wavy cowlick dangling over her forehead. She has dark purplish sclerae, gold irises, thick red eyebrows, red lips, and a T-shaped line going down each cheek. Below the neck her skin is dark purple aside from her fingers. sorXa is completely naked, showing various seams across her body and two concave divots with convex centers on each shoulder. She's sitting with her left arm resting on a flat surface with her right elbow resting on her left hand, and her right hand supporting her right cheek. She's smiling as she looks at something/someone in front of her, out of frame to the viewer's left. The background is a whit border in front of a room with golden walls and a reddish-orange table or somesuch.

Turns out all it took to break my art block a bit was getting bored at my future SIL's bridal shower on Saturday because the Mad Libs game handout was done wrong and thus deciding to use the crappy little wooden pencil to sketch a sorXa on the back instead of filling it out #OC #MachineAtArms

Rough pencil drawing of sorXa, a tall red-haired muscular gynoid, color-shifted to be a reddish magenta. She's viewed slightly from above and to her right, and she's glancing up int he general direction of the viewer. She has a red bob cut, orange wavy bangs framing her face, and a matching cowlick dangling over her forehead. She's wearing a cropped athletic jacket and nothing else.

🩵🩷🤍🩷🩵 Happy TDoV!! 🩵🩷🤍🩷🩵 (Apparently I never posted this last year, whoosp) #MachineAtArms #OC

Pencil drawing colorshifted to approximate the trans pride colors (with blue for dark values, pink for midtones, and white for highlights). A tall muscular gynoid with long wavy hair and a pale face cuddles her girlfriend, a shorter heavyset Black woman with short undercut locs. The gynoid is unclothed, but the coloring of her body from the neck down resembles a dark bodysuit, and she has a T-shaped line down each of her cheeks. The human woman is sitting between her girlfriend's legs, looking over her shoulder at her and caressing the side of her head. She's wearing goggles over her forehead, a white tanktop, a neckerchief, and coveralls with the sleeves tied around her waist. A heart floats up from each of them. Text: "Happy TDoV!!"

Happy TDoV from your ambiguously local trans woman! Please perceive me on the one day of the year during which my ilk are affected by the visible spectrum

Heavyset white trans woman standing in front of a bathroom window. she has long wavy dark brown hair parted from her left to her right, silver glasses, thick eyebrows, a crooked nose, and pale geen-grey eyes. She's wearing a black tank-top with a fiery trans pride colored dragon that says "TRANS RIGHTS" and dark blue jeans, and is smiling as she gives a "V" handsign.

Happy International Women's Day and US Women's 23 Hours! Just barely managed to finish drawing sorXa with a new outfit before midnight Eastern time ^^;; #MachineAtArms #OC

Colorshifted pencil drawing of a tall, muscular gynoid with a red bobcut and wavy lighter-colored bangs framing her face, with a matching wavy cowlick dangling over her forehead. She has dark sclerae, gold irises, red lips, and a T-shaped line going down each cheek. Below the neck her skin is dark purple aside from her fingers. She's wearing a reddish leather jacket with a sherpa/fleece lining, a white open-backed turtleneck croptop, and white short-shorts with deep pockets sticking out. She's glancing to the side and smiling with one hand on her hip.

Comparing one of the my few pre-transition selfies (2016) with one of my many post-transition ones (2026)... yeah, that checks out 🙂‍↕️

2016 selfie of a bearded white "man" with severe resting bitch face. "He" has short dark brown hair, with a cowlick jutting out from "his" bangs like Joseph Joestar or something. "He" isn't wearing "his" glasses for some reason. "He" is wearing a black cardigan over a light grey shirt.

2026 selfie of a heavyset white trans woman, smiling as her long wavy dark brown hair cascades over her shoulders. She's wearing silver glasses, a white sleeveless mock-turtleneck, and dark blue jeans (into whose pockets she has her hands partially tucked). Her top hugs her body enough to show that she has actual breasts and not just chest fat. Though the darker rings under her eyes make her look older and more tired, she's clearly happier than the "man" she was a decade ago.

What time is it? IT'S VALENTIMES!! What're we gonna get? SEVERAL GIRLS! feat. Jenna (they/she), Violet (she/her), and Selena (it/its unless you refer to the Moon with she/her, in which case you unlock she/her for Selena) #OC #MachineAtArms #Valentines

Pencil drawing of three girls (Jenna, they/she; Violet, she/her; and Selena, it/she) hugging under the text "happy Valentimes" (spelling intentional). Jenna has their hair up in a messy bun with wavy bangs framing their face, Violet has a shaven head with only fuzz remaining and a pierced right eyebrow, and Selena has its hair up in a ponytail and a bandage on its crooked nose.

Happy in-universe transiversary and 3rd real-world rebirthday to sorXa!!! 💖💖💖 #MachineAtArms #OC

Digitally-colored pencil drawing of a tall red-haired muscular gynoid doing a magical girl transformation in a field of golden blobs of ether. Her cropped jacket is disintegrating from the sleeves first, the cuffs at her wrists are separating and emitting more gold ether, and the purple skin of her body is turning bright magenta. She has a pale face with T-shaped lines down each cheek, and a band of pale skin around her neck resembling a choker.

Digitally-colored pencil drawing of a tall red-haired gynoid wearing Bridget's outfit from Guilty Gear Strive (using her red alternate palette). She's posed like Bridget's key art (walking forward with her yo-yo held high and swinging Roger behind her), but Roger is replaced with a plush of a grey cat with a long brown vest, beige pants, brown boots and gloves, a green button eye, and a white eyepatch.

Redesigning Valia for #MachineAtArms is hard, as it turns out This design isn't finalized but I think I'm happy with the direction it's going (even though I'm sad about the loss of her iconic scarf, which she's had from day 1)

Pencil sketch of a low-detail chunky robot with a dragon-like head. It has plantigrade feet.

Pencil sketch of a robot with the same head, but with a lankier build and digitigrade feet. She's holding a spear.

The robot with a chunky plate-armor-like design and digitigrade feet, an energy sword, and thrusters coming from the back.

The previous design, refined to have fluted accents like gothic plate harness.

Finally have a design for sorXa's axe (Tuireann) that I'm happy with #MachineAtArms Full post here: www.tumblr.com/aqueousablut...

Digitally-colored pencil drawing of a two-handed dark purple sci-fi axe, styled after Irish axes whose heads protrude in a sort of teardrop shape above the haft. The curved edge is white with a pink tinge, and it can emit red crackling energy that coats the blade. An emitter at the back of the head propels the axe, and a red crystal glows when the axe is emitting energy. It has a hexagonal shaft. An earlier version of the axe with a straight blade is to the left, uncolored. Text: sorXa axe concepts. "Tuireann"? "Esarg"?

"Art at the beginning of COVID vs. now" except with two examples of each so I can't actually label them (it's the first two and second two if that wasn't obvious)

Digitally colored pencil drawing of a short human woman with brown skin and short curly black hair swept to the side. She's wearing a brown jacket, a black neckerchief, a black sash around her waist, black gloves, a gold tunic, black boots, and white trousers. She's holding a sword in her left hand and conjuring gold lightning in her right hand.

Digitally colored pencil drawing of a silver dragonborn in plate harness, with a longsword worn at the hip, a spear in hand, and a blue scarf around the neck.

A tall muscular gynoid with purple skin except for her pale face, fingers, and a band of skin around her neck where a choker might go. She has a red bob cut, orange wavy bangs framing her face, and a matching cowlick over her forehead. She has her left thumb tucked into the upper pocket of her white cargo pants, while she slings a cropped white athletic jacket with red stripes down the sleeves over her shoulder.

The previous character, but now her purple skin is red and crackling with glowing red energy, as is her hair. She's sneering at the viewer while assuming a fighting stance, her hands formed into claws. She's wearing nothing.

I've needed to redesign Violet's arm for a while now anyway and I figured it'd be a good excuse to draw her naked :^] #MachineAtArms

Digitally colored pencil drawing of a somewhat tall, slim naked white woman with a robotic left arm. Her hair is buzzed, she has slender eyebrows, and her right brow, both ears, and both nipples have golden piercings.
