"It would .. But i'd rather not let it heal that way.. Just bear with me. Alright? You gotta trust me..." Hands cupped Dick's face ever so gently, staring him straight in the eyes..his own purple hues reflecting back. "Do you?"

"You're nose doesn't look to great. You might have really broke it..."

"You've had a lot of moments that weren't exactly your best. But you've had some good ones. Just know if you lose to a bunch of teenagers, you're never living it down." A hand settled on Dick's cheek gently.

"Blocking with your face isn't exactly the right way to go.." He's carefully examining him, making sure nothing's broken — but may likely bruise. "When the game's done. Come for a swim. Okay?"

"Concentrate, Dick. You're not playing with ordinary teenagers. They're skilled teenagers and semi-scary. Kids these days.. Let's keep your face in one piece."

You'd think he'd know how to stay on track, let alone not getting lost at sea? That guy.. but it is nice seeing how much his daughter has grown since then. I remember her being so young.. now she's made it to Titan status? Makes you feel old, doesn't it? [ A softened sigh, content in the way ++

A green shark .. Yeah, that makes sense. Wouldn't be a Titans trip without Gar being — Well Gar. Now if we can just make sure there's no Roy shenanigans I won't have have an accidental tsunami. [ & He would, too.. ] Not like that. And floaties..Really, Dick?

Shark repellent? You know you're the one infesting their waters right? It's literally their home? I'll stick around to keep an eye on things. Mostly you.

It's been awhile. The sea always keeps me busy.. But saw everyone coming to beach, figured I'd drop in. It's nice seeing you.

I didn't.. [ He reiterated softly, a hand brushing over Dick's cheek with caution in case it may be too much - but as the other stayed near, he let his hand rest against his face. Purple eyes watchful of the other man. ] I hated the thought of you going... I still feel that way. ++

It's much easier for a siren to claim prey when the target is already attracted to them.. You barely tried to get away from what I remember even if the details are..fuzzy. I didn't want to hurt you, Dick. I didn't want you to go.

When I was a monster beyond my own control or comprehension that tried to kill you..? Now I'm reduced to.. shrimp boy? It'd be more hurt if I didn't grow up with Roy Harper.
