No immunising against stupid. I was at school with a boy who wore calipers because of polio. My grandfather died of TB, my aunt of diphtheria. My mother's cousin died from Tetanus. I knew a deaf/blind man whose mama had rubella while pregnant. Immunisation changed everything in a generation

I use the kettle my mother got in 1989. It works brilliantly. I wish it had a hidden element, but otherwise its great. TBF, I only use it once or twice a day. My sister has to buy a new kettle every 2 years or so. She got the fancy cutlery, I got the kettle....yay for me 😂

I am so pissed off with him and Labour. How can the 'left' be in any danger of losing to our current government? How? If Hipkins had even an ounce of integrity or self awareness he'd have resigned 2yrs ago. Is it his ego? The white man's curse of over confidence? I don't understand.

A budget is a projection. Your income for the 2026/27 year will be xyz, your expenditure abc. You hope they balance. A detailed budget will show from where your income will come and what you will spend $$$ on.

I had a job once that had 1 duvet day a year as a legitimate leave option. Not sick leave, not annual leave just 'blah' leave. Unsurprisingly it was a great place to work.

You get 1 point for a draw, 3 for a win. So currently Belg, Iran are on 2pts each, having drawn 2 games. NZL and Egy are on 1 point having drawn 1 game. A winner this afternoon gets 3pts for a total of 4pts. A draw and all the teams will have 3pts. Then it comes down to goal difference....

It was. I decided she was giving a last wave to the world. I'd go back and look at it every now and then and smile. Then one day it was no more, a new image had been captured. And that was ok.

Its a weird design. But there is another loo and shower in bedroom 2 ... in what seems like the wardrobe. Theres also a 'guest' loo by the front door. It is strange that bed2 doesn't seem to have a door
