I’ve been super busy with midterms, but I managed to fold this into one of my assignments, which was to create a piece emulating the illustrator Rovina Cai (rovinacai.com). I don’t think I really nailed her style, in particular her use of contour shading to create dimension, but it was fun to try!

More #OC-tober art! The prompt I used was “draw your OC in a different art style” This was a hybrid traditional-digital piece; I used pencil for the black lines and then scanned it in to color digitally!

Bumble shark plushies! She's so fuzzy 😭🐝
