// Heeeeey guys 🧍‍♂️ Apologies for the radio silence, I was on vacation and there was lots to do and lots to see, so I didn't really check my phone. I'll probably need some time to settle back in but I will get back to writing soon! Hope you had a good time as well🥴 (or else..)

That's an oddly specific thing to ask out of left field...unless. "Please don't tell me you're keeping pet rats, Darumi." 💧

Getting pranked by Darumi, collared by Hiruko and drooled on by Yugamu in this chili's tonight.

Looks like she didn't skip her smartass classes either...not like he would ever say that out loud. Takumi watches, stupefied, when Hiruko pulls out way too many bell collars one person should have on them by sheer coincidence. "Do you carry these around all the time?" 💧 》

Lucky him. He just barely avoided the Hornygamu-begone spray. Takumi is uncharacteristically silent, though. No shrugging off his words, or complaints or cute reations for Yugamu to feast on. He just stares back quietly, trying to process that these are...Yugamu's genuine feelings? 》

Her explanation isn't very coherent, not like that's anything unusual to Takumi. A lot of the things she says tend to leave him perplexed but right now he has to wonder if that hit to the head only made her blabbering worse. 》

"It's.. ah.." Trailing off, clearly at a loss for words. How does he explain Hiruko baiting him into a gay off contest? Does Shion even know about human concepts like sexuality? Could Takumi explain that, if he asked? And that's what he usually does, ask a lot of questions. 》

Where the heck did she even get tho- right. Right. The gift-o-matic. Here's another case of 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘖𝘔. (The other was Yugamu happily dragging an Iron Maiden back to his room. For personal use, apparently. Whatever that means.) 》

Having another one of his bold streaks, huh? Well not that Takumi minds. This way, he doesn't need to crane his neck in an awkward way, saves him the hassle. He knew what was coming. Should know. But it still makes him flinch slightly when Eito's lips connect with his cheek. 》

// Thinking about Takumis obliviousness and that to me it's not only a 'he's slow on the uptake' kind of thing but also functions like a veil that blocks out stuff he doesn't want to face. He's shown to resort to escapism a lot when something overwhelms him.

He remains stiff and unmoving when Yugamu draws closer. Trying to hold his gaze but it flees elsewhere under the pressure. Even with his eyes stubbornly held downcast, he's keenly aware of each step taken. The pointed stare boring into him, not doubt an indicator 》

He hesitates for a bit. All of this started because he let himself get fired up by Hiruko, maybe getting others involved isn't a good idea. But having to deal with her ridicule after a loss would be far worse. No time to doubt now. "I can do it, if that makes things easier."

That's---- a good question. How does this work, exactly? He saw Hiruko and Darumi kissing in the hallways, so...maybe they should also...? Scratching his cheek, flustered. "How about...a kiss on the cheek?" A kiss is a kiss. This should count.

Leave it to her to get all heated over a simple game. What happened to fun and whimsy? Not like he's setting with a loss that easily either. "There is such a thing as being too confident, you know. Try not to wear yourself out, Hiruko. It will make your loss more disappointing."

Somehow, his blank expression alerts Takumi more than any of his exaggerated cheshire grins. There is something intimate about allowing Takumi to see him without the eccentricity, to let him soak in the words he'd offered, nothing else. 》

Calling him a dummy after he went out of his way to help out...maybe he should let her smash her head in next time. Reaching up to soothe the throbbing spot near his temple, he looks a little flustered at his own misshap. More so when Darumi was there to witness it. 》

"I did. And I'm getting really mixed signals here." Is this one of those carrot and stick situations he's heard about? Takumi's looking a little torn about the selection she came up with, not all of them are well received (the truth hurts) but...this is far more than he expected. 》

Saying these things straight to his face never goes well, Takumi sputters for a good few seconds. Needs some time to gather himself. There's so many reasons to point out why that's a bad idea, he doesn't even know where to start. Or rather, what would be reason enough to keep Yugamu at bay. 》
