A woman at this airport was blatantly racist toward me. Was gonna call her out but realized she's just pouring coffee at a cafe in an airport. She's not even the cashier. Meanwhile, I'm catching first class flights around the globe every year with a remote job and fat paycheck. She can stay mad. 🤣🤣🤣

MLK was only 39 when he was killed. Growing up, I thought that was old. But I’m 43 now and I’m stunned by the burden he shouldered at such a young age. I’m also a lot more aware of how hard it is, at any age, to carry the hopes and dreams of an oppressed people on your shoulders, as so many do.

I hate when people say "we" as in the collective US. "We" nothing. Trump and his regime are at war with Venezuela. Normal citizens like me don't want nor have anything to do with his bombing Caracas. Leave us out of it and let Venezuela bomb Mara-lago or whatever that place is called.

I had already previously planned to return down to Jamaica this winter to take a vacation, but I think what I'm going to do is keep it on the books instead of canceling and just volunteer my time to help with any ongoing relief efforts in that moment.
