Kraft dinner with tuna. Super budget friendly and a comfort food . Some add peas, I tried it and didn’t like it with the peas. I love peas but it made it too sweet for me.

Had three bell peppers, bought on sale, in the crisper. Some leftover vegan pasta sauce and I made some Israeli couscous (it’s just bigger couscous) mixed the pasta sauce in with shredded mozzarella. Stuffed the baked peppers and put shredded mozzarella on top. Baked. They smell great

Stock up what food you can. Dry rice and beans are still somewhat cheap and eaten together form a complete protein. They are shelf stable and only require water to make. Spices do help.

Stray mama dog and puppies came back for more food and water. They won’t let us pet them but the pups were brave enough to come on the side porch. Mama dog is a little skittish.

The grocery store near us had frozen bags of veggies that if you buy 5 they’re 0.49 cents each. We got 10 bags for $5.05. They charge tax on food here. Broccoli, corn, peas, and mixed vegetables. Made me happy

McDonald’s used to have danishes. The cinnamon was the best IMO. They would steam with butter. The icing would melt into the pastry and you were left with buttery, creamy,sugary, pastry gloriousness.
