each time you click to run a c program - this is how it's gets from "writing the program" -> "running the program". PS: I'm studying Operating Systems book cite: "Computer Systems - A Programmer's Perspective" (must read)

last week's update: spent less time learning due to exams, but few PR's got merged - made me happy as i was new to open source. lessons learnt : you don't need to be expert to start your open source journey, but would need a quality PRs to level up & win trust of maintainer.

Rust Language @rust-lang.org · 12/02/2026

Rust 1.93.1 has been released. This point release fixes three regressions that slipped into in Rust 1.93.0: an internal compiler error affecting rustfmt, a false positive in a clippy lint, and an issue with the wasm32-wasip2 target. See the blog post for details: blog.rust-lang.org/2026/02/12/R...

I didn’t drop off. X overwhelmed me, so I stepped back and kept building. Last month (quietly): • 3 projects shipped • Learnt Rust (Basics) • 1 mini CLI Project on Rust • Shipped First Solana project. Less noise. Small steps. Back to posting, accountability matters.

Rust is about one thing only : > Memory safety without garbage collection. > Solana chose rust because: >> no GC pauses (deterministic) >> High performance >> Compile-time safety (no runtime panic on-chain)
