I packed up @b1g.monster's "No AI" banner overlay into a UnityPackage you can import to automatically overlay your scene when taking avatar thumbnail pictures for @vrchat.com. Thank you to @purpzie.com for distributing them in an easy way. #VRChat github.com/SloneFallion...

Before the PR disaster and after the PR disaster. This wasn't just because it's a collab. People were free to reply to the last one.

A screenshot of a VRChat promotional post for Miku Hatsune before their PR disaster of promoting worlds created with generative AI, stating they are made from people in the community. Everyone is allowed to reply.

at least it’s not entirely bad since International Sign just looks like ASL but with quirks to make it universal so im not entirely screwed over

000

Mäks'nt @applevlux.com · 09/09/2026

i like the fact i have been learning sign language for no reason since i don’t know anyone that is d/Deaf or uses sign language and that i’ve been learning a sign language that isn’t even used in my country

im wondering if i should get one of those AR glasses which are just 2 tiny screens attached to some sunglasses and do some funky jank to have them be a vr headset (just put a lighthouse tracker on the thing for tracking lol)

I have replaced my @slimevr.dev full body tracking entirely with AI. AI can replace tracking by predicting how people will move at the atomic level. #motioncapture www.youtube.com/watch?v=3cYo...

im now starting to wish more that other localized shows and stuff payed attention to that

000

Mäks'nt @applevlux.com · 28/03/2026

another good detail is how some of the dubs replace the "guess who's running the show" line with something that more fits with the respective language for example ukrainian replaces it with "Я тут цар i бог" which roughly means "Im the king and god here"

Mäks'nt @applevlux.com · 28/03/2026

Fun fact the musical in #TADC ep 8 is actually sung in every language the show is dubbed in some are done pretty well and some got butchered sadly (especially japanese imo) Russian, Ukranian and Dutch were done rlly well imo
