Q: Is that the eye above or below the antenna? A: It's both. The Red Milkweed Beetle has adapted in such a way that the antenna bisects its compound eye.

Mine was in experimental physics, so I'm not sure how relevant my experience is, but... I agree with others, skip the introduction for later unless you are feeling inspired, and focus on just getting words on the page. Don't worry if it's no good, keep writing, get that first draft.

Everything is pretty weird in the ocean, so saltwater fish might be kinda clueless But freshwater fish have gotta know that they are weird

As common as Chickadees are around here, I rarely get a half decent photo of them. It's a bit easier on a rainy day with softer lighting. #birds

Don't do that! You will miss out on learning how ravioli can help you containerize your quantum data lake at scale!

I think the same is true of any photography - I try to keep my bird photos "natural" but I'm really just matching the post-processing of my own brain. What the color of an object would really look like out of a spaceship window would depend a bit on the choice of interior lighting on the ship.

Still have nothing to say, but posting feels fun again. I've seen a lot of Green Herons in my feed, which is a good thing, so here is another one.

I've got a dog like that, Abby is some sort of Beagle Rottweiler hybrid with German Pointer mixed in. One of the hungriest creatures that ever walked the Earth, but a good dog nonetheless.

I don't have much to say right now, but I'm excited about this app catching on, so I'm gonna post one of my old bird pics every few days. Here's an Indigo Bunting
