[CW: Non-serious mental health advice] As the days get shorter and the sun becomes an infrequent visitor, I always keep this mantra in mind: "Mental is hocus, health, not pocus"

Two side-by-side displays with text that spans between the two

Mental | health
Is | Not
HOCUS | POCUS

If read like two-column text (or like two pages of a book) it would read ”Mental is HOCUS, health not POCUS)

@noboilerplate oh, haha, I didn't notice it was an old one. I just watched it this week. Someone at work linked it in a thread after making sure no one has allowed `never_type_fallback_flowing_into_unsafe` as 1.100 would be a breaking change.

@noboilerplate I think I saw you in the audience of Waffle's talk's recording. (I appreciated you asking the same question I had)

@noboilerplate I know this is a joke but as long as you're on Unix you can do `xxd -l 8 -p /dev/random` and get similar results.

I keep getting crushed on European OSS contributors. I hear them speak at conferences and my lizard brain tells me to give them shiny rocks.

Hot take: if it were up to me all repos I worked on would have a bot that automatically rejects PRs that break out-of-the-box line-by-line debugging in IDEs. Unfortunately most the projects I'm on have had a neovim user that never use debuggers that write bespoke makefiles that aren't […]

The #fediverse! :blobcoffee: :queercat_trans:

Joker meme!

Top panel: Let me get this straight. You think your data is safer in the hands of some transgender furry than with the richest most powerful corporations in the world?

Bottom panel: It is. And I'm tired of pretending it's not.
