Friends, the Lab is hiring again! I'm looking for a Content Specialist. The rapidly emerging needs of the space mean that we need someone who can produce smart and strategic content, quickly and effectively - while at the same time helping us to strengthen the foundational work the Lab is known for.

"Our task at this tipping point is straightforward: Mobilize locally to protect what national leaders will not." From @mustafasantiagoali.bsky.social in this piece from @yessfun.com for Atmos. This is the work. This is how we make progress in the face of the forces that seek to stop our movement.

Progress at the state and local level is how we keep the march towards a clean energy future going, now, over the next four years, and beyond. While it is important that we defend the progress we've made, it is critical that we do not let up our efforts to drive change and celebrate our victories.

We made our upgrade last year when our mini-splits gave out on us. The IRA incentive was a huge factor, given that the equipment costs were about the same. Would love to see these as a requirement in all new home developments in greater HTX.

New #Cop28  text: "Reducing both consumption and production of fossil fuels, in a just, orderly and equitable manner so as to achieve net zero by, before, or around 2050 in keeping with the science" Doesn't include the "unabated" loophole, but "reducing" is utter BS. We need "phase out." Now.
