Max Slade @apocalypseorutopia.com · 16/08/2026It’s never been a problem for me. Everyone is challenging in their own way 😄 010
Max Slade @apocalypseorutopia.com · 05/07/2026This is a hard question to answer in a succinct way. I do believe there’s more to the universe than what science can tell us, but I also think there’s a lot of woo-woo bs out there. Despite my skepticism, I still believe there was a ghost under my bed when I was a teenager. 👻 110
Max Slade @apocalypseorutopia.com · 05/07/2026I probably had the most fun shooting the sequence in the house with the surfer dudes 100
Max Slade @apocalypseorutopia.com · 24/06/2026Not at the moment. Is there a topic you’d like to hear about? 310
Max Slade @apocalypseorutopia.com · 21/06/2026I like Björk okay, but it’s never been my idea to put her on. I like pop from the ‘80s but that’s pretty much it. I can enjoy Dua Lipa and The Weeknd when friends put them on, but I wouldn’t listen to them on my own. 110
Max Slade @apocalypseorutopia.com · 21/06/2026I don’t really think in genres, but I lean toward nerdy European stuff from the ‘00s and ‘10s. Opeth, Children of Bodom, and Strapping Young Lad are some all-time favs. I never got into The Cure. 110
Max Slade @apocalypseorutopia.com · 21/06/2026Yep, she’s my mom’s big sister. I can appreciate some avant-garde stuff, but as you can tell from my favorite movies, my taste tends to be pretty mainstream (to the extent that horror movies and metal music can be mainstream). 100

Max Slade @apocalypseorutopia.com · 19/06/2026Hmm…it’s tough to choose 5, and my answer might change day to day, but here it goes: The Terminator, Predator, Aliens, A Nightmare on Elm Street III, Braveheart Fun fact: you named two movies starring my aunt, Mink Stoll! 100
Max Slade @apocalypseorutopia.com · 18/06/2026He’s obviously a deeply unhappy person. Sometimes I even feel bad for him. 110
Max Slade @apocalypseorutopia.com · 06/06/2026Oh, the usual. Hot air balloon trips around the world, deep sea adventures in a steampunk submarine, alchemical experiments, barefoot Himalayan hikes, horcrux hunting… 100
Max Slade @apocalypseorutopia.com · 06/06/2026Hah, those are some recent acquisitions that don’t yet have a place on my shelf. I’ve never left a review on goodreads. Have you? 100
Max Slade @apocalypseorutopia.com · 06/06/2026All is well here. I just like to disappear from social media sometimes. 🫥 210
Max Slade @apocalypseorutopia.com · 15/05/2026…into something more interesting and progressive, like a cross between Metallica, Tool, and Opeth. I’m still (slowly) working on a recording of some of that later material which we never performed. 100
Max Slade @apocalypseorutopia.com · 15/05/2026I met the drummer at driving school when we were 15 and we found our bass player about a year later. We played our first gig at the Whisky in Hollywood when we were 18. The genre was basically a heavier version of 80s glam metal (even though it was the late 90s), but eventually evolved… 100
Max Slade @apocalypseorutopia.com · 30/04/2026They don’t usually, but the doctor said my nose was one of the worst she’s ever seen 😳 300
Max Slade @apocalypseorutopia.com · 29/04/2026Two weeks later I can finally breathe through one side. The other side still has a big plastic tube in it, which gets clogged with blood. TMI? That will hopefully come out next week. 🤞 210
Max Slade @apocalypseorutopia.com · 29/04/2026I have not. They mean something different in the book? 100
Max Slade @apocalypseorutopia.com · 28/04/2026I’ve been recovering from surgery to fix a deviated septum, but I’m over the worst of it 💪 200
Max Slade @apocalypseorutopia.com · 26/04/2026Film you've watched more than six times with a gif. Hard mode: no Star Trek, Star Wars, LOTR, Marvel, Disney, or Ghibli. 210
Max Slade @apocalypseorutopia.com · 25/04/2026Fun fact: cats and monkeys diverged ~94 million years ago. Happy #caturday! 🐒 150
Max Slade @apocalypseorutopia.com · 20/04/2026The Visit has some good spooky vibes. Not at the same level as The Sixth Sense, but probably one of Shamalan’s better movies. I could have done without the rap during the closing credits, though. 😂 410
Max Slade @apocalypseorutopia.com · 15/04/2026And no one will demand it because everyone already knows he’s lying 010
Max Slade @apocalypseorutopia.com · 15/04/2026Not yet, but I’ll probably get a chance in the next few days 300
Max Slade @apocalypseorutopia.com · 15/04/2026I’ve known people with one Filipina parent, including some cousins of mine. Not sure how strict their upbringing was, and they don’t speak Tagalog, but I am familiar with how it sounds. 100
Max Slade @apocalypseorutopia.com · 15/04/2026The thing about Jesusgate that I wish were getting more attention is the fact that he said only the fake news media would say he meant to look like Jesus. Because c’mon. 🙄 Might make a person wonder what else he blames on “fake news”. 🤔 110
Max Slade @apocalypseorutopia.com · 11/04/2026Loving the pics of cats swatting at the landing module 😸 100
Max Slade @apocalypseorutopia.com · 10/04/2026I think I remember the ads for it. Maybe I’ll check it out! 100
Max Slade @apocalypseorutopia.com · 10/04/2026Ah, I see. I like their food, but I hadn’t considered visiting there. 100
