same here. the solution i have found is that i develop multiple projects in parallel. since ai can code way faster and it takes less time to design features, i can simply do work in magnitudes. i use chatgpt mcp client with local code tools exposed via mcp.myriadcode.com/login registry for free.

got my generic MCP adapter working: one local bridge can expose multiple MCP servers to different LLM clients. now I can use ChatGPT + DeepSeek with the same tools instead of rebuilding integrations per model. next: experiment with implementor/verifier workflows. #buildinpublic #MCP

well, i started MS degree with intent to study SE despite being experienced, yet directed it in AI-with-hardware-based cuz it is harder to learn them on my own due to time and costs on hardware. so, for me, pretty good decision so far.
