Just go cheap and check a variety of PET water bottles for thread compatibility, like mine in the picture. That water bottle is then your starting point for ensured clean hydration without filter. When empty you can it REFILL this bottle, in doubt you CAN filter.

Here my newest gadget, 0,5 liter thermo flask with integrated water cooker. So, I can cook (and disinfect) with the sun, having solar generators. If you buy similar ones at Yodobashi check the inside smell, Zorijushi smells and taste terrible even after years. 0,5 liter need 6 minutes, 300 W

Last but not least ALWAYS CARRY WATER, preferably in a Sawyer COMPATIBLE bottle…and a Sawyer filter. So you can use a big bottle, but only carry factory fresh 300 ml, like in the photo. Then you can REFILL from suspicious sources and filter😁
