DebbieM52081294 @aphistory.bsky.social · 09/09/2024Really interesting and thought-provoking read about this complex issue. Looking forward to reading the next instalments. 000
DebbieM52081294 @aphistory.bsky.social · 09/09/2024Thanks for posting this, it was a great read. ..That’s my intentional bit done for the day, now😊 000
DebbieM52081294 @aphistory.bsky.social · 31/08/2024Enjoyed this, thanks! Really useful reminder of possible barriers to accessing challenging texts and how what the teacher does with the text, and how it is presented, is so important. 111
DebbieM52081294 @aphistory.bsky.social · 30/08/2024You can freeze sandwiches. Some work better than others. Make a load and voila! Take one out the freezer each morning and it’s defrosted by lunchtime. Also, you can do porridge in a slow cooker overnight and have it for breakfast so can last all morning without feeling hungry. 000
DebbieM52081294 @aphistory.bsky.social · 30/08/2024Really interesting article, and led me to a whole host of other interesting stuff too - thanks! 010

DebbieM52081294 @aphistory.bsky.social · 23/08/2024Have you just changed from Edexcel to OCR by any chance? 110
DebbieM52081294 @aphistory.bsky.social · 23/08/2024Time team did a documentary on the secret of Lincoln jail which is useful in tracing the prison at the castle over time - it’s available on YouTube. KSHS in Sleaford do Lincoln castle as a site study and they did have some resources on their website, but not sure if this is still the case. 010
DebbieM52081294 @aphistory.bsky.social · 23/08/2024I’m guessing that you provided guidance along the way, and clearly they were out of sight but not out of mind for you as their History teacher. That is so important- and it’s not universal, so well done to you too 000
DebbieM52081294 @aphistory.bsky.social · 20/08/2024Thanks Pete! I’ll have to see if I can adapt this for our students- really useful 😊 000
DebbieM52081294 @aphistory.bsky.social · 17/08/2024Got so many of these books on my shelves- and still refer to some old favourites regularly! This was a really interesting read, thanks 😊 100
