Unpopular ceramic habit: I don't make internal galleries for my jars. I make a slide lid or I guess it's called a "stepped" lid. I like that little bit of extra deal estate to decorate..it's a little surprise for the user when they slide the lid up.

nor do they consistently wear PPE. Colorants are poisonous. The risk of ingestion with some of these undergrads is high and I don't want to risk it especially in a janky environment. I'm working with zero ventilation and cobbled together equipment, full PPE is 100% necessary.
