These Mouse-tober minis are soooo adorable! 💖

Alpha_Ki / Apfelwolf @apfelwolf.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Everyone has different reasons for having difficult times... with these illustrations "The Heist 1 & 2" I just want to create a little smile on your faces. 😘 They are part of the "kitchen minis", food themed illustrations - they were sold at the #eurofurence ArtShow. 😊

The Illustration is called "The Heist 1". It shows a cartoony fox coming down from the ceiling elegantly wearing a harness connected to wires, to steal a perfecrly roasted chicken exhihited like an expensive piece of art surrounded by laser beams and a huge bear trap.

The Illustration is called "The Heist 2". It shows a cartoony fox tapped in wires, varoius small and large traps, bear traps ans mouse traps, one foot in a glue trap, trying to dig the fangs in a perfect roasted chicken which is rolling away.

A little flashback for today's #FursuitFriday - Alea and Rynn were the first fursuits @apfelwolf.bsky.social and I built, more than 15 years ago. (the photo was taken by @cleanerwolf.bsky.social on the weekend of our wedding❤️)

An anthropomorphic fox couple (silver vixen, red fox) in front of a big historic timber frame building with ornamented windows. The fox is kneeling in front of the vixen, holding her paw in his, and planting a kiss on it.

"The road to freedom" was painted on the backside of a very old construction sign that I had with me for ages... the last remnant of my more rebelious days. 🤭😆 It was fun working in a reduced color scheme being more aware about the final visuals. Sold at Eurofurence Art Show.

The picture "Road To Freedom" shows the painted backside of a construction work sign with an anthropomorphic black dog in blue jeans on a skateboard rolling down a desert road towards the horizon. The illustration is painted in a black, blue and sand color scheme.

Searching for references images and seeing nothing but ai slop makes me think of the old bestiaries, with fantastic creatures people had only heard of and never seen. I feel like that's where we are now. People will believe these fake images are real or that real animals look that distorted.

"BANANA-NA-NA-NA" is one of my latest kitchen minis, a series of tiny illustrations themed around food and cooking. Our little one looooves fruit bats so the series needed some. 😊🥰 Displayed at EF ArtShow.

The picture shows an illustration of two fruit bats, one sitting up right snuggeling a half peeled banana with its wings, the other one hanging from above trying to steal the first bite.
This picture belongs to a series of tiny funny and cute illustrations around food and cooking.

~Dance with me through the rain of ashes~ This piece is heavily inspired by the beautiful song 'Eis und Asche' by Versengold and my wish to draw something for the year of the firehorse :) Took my time to work on them without sharing much. So maybe you love the surprise? #mousedraws #firehorse

Two anthro horses dance in an intimate pose, drawn to each other surrounded by a firering she creates. He is drawn in the colors of a black forest horse. While she is a dapple grey horse with a blue shimmer, wearing an white and blue dress, that catches fire at the edge of her dress.
They're both surrounded by grey clouds and rain of ashes.

The whole piece is colored with watercolors and caran d'ache luminance pencils
