this is nice in theory but in practice I would guess that 99% of programmers don't know the implementation details of the stdlib, and they shouldn't really have to. what's important is they know what stdlib thing should be used in what situation

reminds me of one of the scripts i worked on, mostly Perl, but the boilerplate was a Bash script that would find your system's Perl interpreter for you and then call itself using that Perl interpreter. the Bash boilerplate section was commented out if you were reading the file as Perl. cursed.
