#HoRS3S just took place in Granada a few days ago, and what a great experience it was! Between all the great high-resolution talks and posters, I had the chance to present my work on the atmospheres of small benchmark exoplanets. It really is exciting to be at the dawn of the ELT era.

Some pics from my quick visit to Porto for #Exoplanets6! Now looking forward to next week's #HoRS3S meeting in Granada. Almost 200 high-res folks gathering there!

What is GJ 1214 b really composed of? 🪐 It remains a mystery. In our latest article, we characterized its atmosphere to be rich in heavy metals, misty, and may contain CO₂. 🔗 Read the article here: www.aanda.org/articles/aa/... #Astronomy #Astrophysics #Exoplanets #Atmosphere #GJ1214b

Small planets are the norm, and they often host thick, cloudy atmospheres! With current instrumentation, this is what we mostly observe across our galaxy, and I had the chance to speak about it in my highlight talk during the External Scientific Advisory Board at @iaacsic.bsky.social. #Exoplanets

We uncovered a "wall of clouds" on the Neptune-like exoplanet GJ 436 b! ☁️🪐 By combining CARMENES and CRIRES+ data, we characterized GJ 436 b's cloudy atmosphere with unprecedented detail. 🔗 Link to the article: www.aanda.org/articles/aa/... #Astronomy #Astrophysics #Exoplanets #Atmosphere
