Been so nervous to paint because I have been doing digital stuff for so long, worried that I somehow lost that skills set or I wouldn’t be as good. Glad I proved myself wrong, so happy with how this turned out ☺️ a gift my husband was super happy with. #landscape #acrylic #pleinairpril #godzilla

Stop equating your social metrics as a measure of your art skill. Social media rewards strategy, timing, and sometimes straight-up luck. Ask your peers and mentors for direct, actionable feedback and keep practicing.

Did a quick experiment piece with a new brush pack I got and fell in love with the texture of the ink wash brush especially. Got the pack from Manero Brushes if you guys wanna check it (there’s a free mini pack on there too to sample it). #watercolor #procreate #figuredrawing

I haven’t done any just strictly character drawings in a while, so doodled this little freckled friend with some icecream. #characterdesign #oc #characterart #sketching #digitalsketch #procreateart

Maybe I should do an actual intro post? Haha😅 I’m an Illustrator in Washington! Married with 2 kids, life is full and fun☺️ I love to draw fantasy, LotR, DnD oc’s, dreamy scapes, etc📚 I own a sticker (and more) shop on Etsy (Apeeling Artist Shop) and work freelance from time to time. Love what I do!

A labor of love, tried a lot of things I either haven’t done since art college (7+ yrs) or I’ve been too apprehensive to do🫣 Filling a page with detail and using bright colors has been so much fun, and diving down into subject matter that I truly love🥰 #surreal #ocart #lofi #ocean #dreams #bobatea

My #2024artsummary 👩‍🎨🖼️ This year was seriously a huge learning curve as an illustrator, a mother, a wife, and business owner. Refining my style, finding joy and purpose rather rather than doing what drains and distracts from being my best for my children. Excited for what is going to happen in 2025🥰🎇
