Trying to get out of an art block, I think Deltarune Ch5 may have my favorite secret boss since Ch2

The Charles Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa was pretty cool. Incredibly inspiring to see the linework and roughness of the original strips up close. Left the experience with a newfound appreciation for Schulz and his work. Highly recommend it.

Recreation of the office of Charles Schulz.

Mosaic wall consisting of thousands of Peanuts comic strip. Makes up the face of Lucy.

Lunch was a hot dog and chips served in a dog bowl.

CUPHEAD FOR SMASH (Drawn 5/6/2019) Made this as my final for a digital art class in college! Was restricted to using Adobe Illustrator, which REALLY wasn't my forte, so to challenge myself, I was aiming to recreate my personal favorite style - old-timey hand drawn animation. I got an A on it!

A blueprint design of four different special moves Cuphead could have in a hypothetical Smash Bros. game. Each section has text describing it and, if applicable, tiny silly illustrations communicating how the move works.

RAYMAN ALTS (Drawn 9/9/2023) It's that guy! From that one thing! An experiment w/ raster sketches, heavily inspired by the wonderful art made by @giacomobonus.bsky.social for the Mario + Rabbids game. Never shared all the alternate colors I made for it! How many references do YOU recognize?

A sketch of Ubisoft's beloved platformer mascot, Rayman.

Ten different costumes for Rayman, each inspired by an actual design he uses in the various Rayman games.

#2 is Dark Rayman, #5 is inspired by Rayman's friend Globox, #9 is a Ubisoft-inspired skin, #10 is his disco outfit from Rayman Raving Rabbids. The rest take inspiration from the various power-ups of Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc.

MICKEY ADVENTURE 2 (Drawn 1/12/25) IDK, I was on a Sonic kick. Had a whole idea about Walt being the stand-in for Gerald Robotnik and reinterpreting the Space Colony Ark as Walt's vision of EPCOT (w/ elements of Spaceship Earth). Decided it was too fanfic-y so I didn't shared it until now, lmao.

Have a lot of art in the archives from the other site I haven't shared here... gonna start doing that! Here's Marx, the silly little fella from Kirby Super Star. Really liked the idea of each of the crystals in his wings allowing you to peer into alternate realities. Drawn on 6/13/23.

A colored pencil sketch of Marx, the main antagonist of Kirby Super Star. Each crystal that makes up his wings acts as a mirror of a different reality, showing different scenes from Kirby lore.

"I'm Mr. Ring-a-Ding I make your heart bells sing Please don't make me laugh Just take my autograph Now take my jokes, my lovely folks For I know just one thing For I am he, oh yes I'm Mr. Ring-a-DIIIING!" Took a stab at Mr. Ring-a-Ding from "Lux", the latest ep of Doctor Who. He's very me-coded.

My own drawing of Mr. Ring-a-Ding from the Doctor Who episode "Lux". Meant to look slightly historically-accurate.

Without downloading any new pics, where are you mentally?

An image of Pim, the lovable pink fellow from the Adult Swim show Smiling Friends, exhausted and drawn in a hyper-realistic style. This is used in the post to represent how fucking sick of everything I am.

"I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way." A drawing of Jessica Rabbit (Who Framed Roger Rabbit?) I did earlier this year I was really happy with.
