If we start seeing this bug across more distros, more desktop environments, and more graphics pipelines though? Then yeah, that's a monumental fuckup. But this seems about par for the course in Linux Land (I'm an old Arch head, so this kind of fuckery is nothing new to me).

Nah, I wouldn't take it that far. I'm not holding water for them, and fuck vibecoding and anyone who uses AI for code (losers), but the amount of variance in desktop environments, graphics drivers, distributions, and hardware is absolutely batshit.

Linux is a more fickle beast than Windows when it comes to deployment. Im willing to bet that whoever vibecoded the Linux client saw that it worked well on *their* machine, but they dont have the QA in place to ensure that it works well on *the majority* of machines. The Sween strikes again.

And im back at my hotel, but I completely blanked and forgot to get photos of my final planned stop, Game Post of San Francisco! They had a basement area where a 40k game was going on and I bummed around and chatted up the local nerds. Very friendly bunch. I am now back at my hotel, ready to rest.
