There’s nothing wrong with taking photos of meaningful moments. Photography is my hobby, after all, and I enjoy capturing all kinds of memories. But it’s just as important to know when to stop documenting everything and simply be present, rather than experiencing life through a screen.

Just enjoy the concert. Be there. Not everything has to be documented. Some moments are actually better when they’re just yours. It honestly feels like people have forgotten how to experience things without proving they experienced them.

Phones are an illness. I was at a Chopin concert in Warsaw today, and I swear half the audience couldn’t go five minutes without pulling out their phones. Pictures, videos… for what? You’re never going to watch that shaky 47-second clip again.
