I've only been waiting for a Reiseausweis für Ausländer (~= Foreigners' Travel Document) for 9.5 months~ (>3 months since their last response, which moved only once I reminded them of their legal deadlines) And 2.75 months for a settlement permit~ And they changed their contact system now so […]

how i'm rolling with hamburg ausländerbehörde these days

bernie sanders "I am once again asking" meme, but it says "I am once again asking for a consideration of § 75 VwGO".

That's the law that says that administrative applications must be decided upon in a reasonable timeframe, and says that after 3 months a lawsuit can be lodged.

yea it leaks :/ at least I found out while testing carefully for exactly that. at least it's only 2.5g overfilled now (vs 3g) leaving it upside down overnight over some paper towels I guess, maybe it's fine by the morning

I kind of want to make a blog post or smth about how to make a good train toilet but honestly it can be summed up as "clone deutsche bahn ICEs, including the hand sanitizer" (or POSIWID: toilet seat sanitizer).

In case there's any other nerds out there interested in doing contactless payments with their non-mainstream watches, check out this remix that I published (after having it sit on my laptop for like 1.5 years lol). I paid with this everywhere at WHY2025 and it works great.

list of payments, all to WHY-shaped payments places plus albert heijn at ams centraal
also lol 6eur balance left

I forgot the coolest part, I accidentally discovered a trick to printing really clear transparent PETG: I returned my borrowed satin sheet back, and the one I bought isn't here yet and I didn't want to use textured sheet for transparent, so I printed it on […] [Original post on queer.party]

@q ask for a Fiktionsbescheinigung :D (you're not illegally resident, you have the right to remain (but not to re-enter, incl. if you go to another EU state) at least until a decision is made, but you strongly benefit from being able to prove that fact)
