New marsh beetle species from the Brazilian Amazon: Scirtes jefersoni is known from palm bracts and leaves and temporary forest puddles in Amazonas State and is the first Scirtes species described from Brazil in 75 years. Also larval and pupal descriptions provided! doi.org/10.5735/086....

A new, cold-tolerant non-biting midge species in the genus 𝘉𝘳𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘢 has been described from the high-altitude stream ecosystems of Sichuan Province, China. The discovery adds to the growing diversity of the genus, now comprising 15 valid species worldwide. doi.org/10.5735/086.....
