so would this be considered quadruple manly?

Anya Nightmares @anyanightmares.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

recently hit pretty bad burnout on a project instead of working on it i find myself procrastinating on it by working on other things it truly is cruel that the only time i am productive in something is when i am procrastinating on something else (there is a deadline though so i gotta get back to it)

my stuff came in so now i got more lobcorp stickers (and stickerbooks) my personal favorites are wellcheers and yin & yang, although i think MoSB came out pretty well dw about the lighting, i'm perfectly fine :)

indeed, in a folder named "GARBAGE", not to be confused with the similarly named folder, "NOT GARBAGE"

Anya Nightmares @anyanightmares.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

I really need a better way of indexing files and stuff; I have a file named "cheesesticks" and it's not even about cheesesticks. I don't even like cheesesticks. why did i name it that??

110

Anya Nightmares @anyanightmares.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

recently i was like "oh yea i'll finally edit that one video that i recorded 3 months ago" i can't find it… either the terrible laptop i was using at the time never saved the file or i accidentally deleted it because the file size was super large… well darn. I'll probably just replay that game then.

Anya Nightmares @anyanightmares.bsky.social · 01/08/2026

I swear there was mention of catboy thaf on a recent stream hence i was like "that sounds like a great thing to draw" so this didn't come out of nowhere #thaffanart

a summary (?): - ominous foreshadowing - artist alley traffic sucks even harder somehow - i like supernatural supermarkets and corporate branding - my feet hurt - i can't tell if binge-reading gsgw in 3 days gave me a headache or if i'm sick i can still hear the AA megaphones echoing in my mind…

000

Anya Nightmares @anyanightmares.bsky.social · 04/07/2026

also, am I crazy or did they get rid of the exit ticket scanners outta nowhere today??? I swear you had to tap out to exit yesterday so i was mildly panicking trying to find an exit with the scanners, but there were none not that it would've mattered anyway, cuz I'm not going back tomorrow but wth

100

Anya Nightmares @anyanightmares.bsky.social · 04/07/2026

I did end up going back to artist alley pretty early this morning to get the tote bag i was thinking about getting, and the 5 minute virtual queue truly did make me want to quit and leave. might be traumatized from the endless lines from yesterday :( walked everything else in 3-4 hours?

100

Anya Nightmares @anyanightmares.bsky.social · 04/07/2026

it's kinda hard to wait in a virtual queue when it moves unpredictably and you just gotta wade through a heck ton of people traffic to be there stat… didn't walk artist alley afterwards cuz I already spent my budget though lowkey considering not going next year because virtual queues are torture

100

Anya Nightmares @anyanightmares.bsky.social · 04/07/2026

ngl, buying stuff in artist alley this year was pretty terrible terrible lines, virtual queues extending over an hour accidentally closed the tab once and had to restart all over again :( spent the whole first day just lining up for things that i scouted out ahead of time

100

Anya Nightmares @anyanightmares.bsky.social · 04/07/2026

look at all the stuff i got at anime expo (rip my money) for the six cards with the women i got on the bottom left, I spun the prize wheel and landed on "second life jackpot", so they gave me a copy of all of the designs. kinda ominous, isn't it?

120

Anya Nightmares @anyanightmares.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

btw I'm still deciding if i wanna cosplay angela for friday as well or renko from touhou project, secretly i'll have a bunch of touhou stickers regardless in my bag though. although is it secret if i tell you? maybe it is because of how few people will see this.

020

Anya Nightmares @anyanightmares.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

ngl I was gonna order another batch of stickers anyway cuz i am out of punishing bird stickers (rip). probably gonna make another 8 designs as well when I have the time… maybe at some point i will have all of them as stickers (but who would even want the bald abnorm as a sticker???)

120

Anya Nightmares @anyanightmares.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

yo i'm gonna be at anime expo tomorrow cosplaying angela from lobotomy corporation to pretend like I matter enough in the world for someone to randomly go up to me and ask for something i'm gonna bring some lobcorp stickers to awkwardly hand to anyone (for free) who initiates conversation with me

it's mostly because obsession would be a hard rewatch for me… the characters are painfully realistic in both their actions and their flaws which makes it hard for me to watch, but as a singular experience, I liked it minor spoiler: what's up with all the CRTs in recent media though??? i want one :(

020

Anya Nightmares @anyanightmares.bsky.social · 01/06/2026

the writing really excels at fleshing out all these different characters and their relationships, and the actress is insanely good, so I can definitely see why people rewatch the movie, although in terms of enjoyment I must admit I just like the backrooms more lol (yes i'm biased)

110

Anya Nightmares @anyanightmares.bsky.social · 01/06/2026

watched obsession today some thoughts: the movie is more predictable than the backrooms, but rather than just the fear of the unknown, it draws on the fear of what might happen given what we know and the writing takes advantage of the predictability to establish tension

110

Anya Nightmares @anyanightmares.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

will say it reminds me more of the other webseries kane pixels did (the oldest view) with the exploration aspect than the backrooms webseries …granted, it's been a while since I watched the backrooms webseries but the movie *did* answer one of my burning questions so that was fun

010

Anya Nightmares @anyanightmares.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

just got back from watching the backrooms movie and holy shoot it's good I do like analog horror quite a bit and i've seen the webseries so yep really liked how it captures the original premise of the backrooms (liminal space, not completely alone) rather than just ooooo spooky monster

perhaps i'm desensitized and had to ask my friend what part would be generally considered horror; went into it hoping to get scared, but alas.

010

Anya Nightmares @anyanightmares.bsky.social · 04/02/2026

watched iron lung with a friend today some thoughts: a surprisingly good (and faithful) movie adaption of a game, although they name-drop some things from the game without any explanation… had to rack my brain to remember what everything meant, and it felt more like a thriller than a horror movie

I made an attempt at drawing fanart of Thafnine's OCs. Happy birthday! #thaffanart

thaf in a tv holding his hat and pointing a remote at the camera as nina enjoys some chocolate cake.
you would assume this was a bonus sketch, but actually, i drew this first and the other one is the bonus.

thaf holds a slice of black forest cake (which is clearly a lie) as hack crawls out of the tv.
unfortunately i did not happen to have a slice of black forest cake on hand and so i was forced to draw it myself.
to those unfamiliar with hack, i would just like to point out that he is fully clothed.
