Just O’Hare things… Landing early, only to have the crew announce that we have to sit in the penalty box for an hour while we wait for a gate, and then the gate we’re expected to go to is one of the ground level G gates meant for small regional jets 2 terminals away from where we’re supposed to be.

Brown Line service has been temporarily suspended between Belmont and Kimball due to a medical emergency on the track at Addison.

As a result, trains are operating only between Clark/Lake and Belmont at this time.

Shuttle buses are available from Belmont to Kimball to provide connecting service through the affected area.

Consider other service alternatives that may serve your trip, such as nearby bus routes, or using buses to other rail lines.

These may include:

It’s quite evident the CTA put no thought into this, starting it on a weekend when the Red Line is running elevated via the Loop. My Brown Line train was standing room only just a few stops in and we started leaving people behind on the platform at Southport (and Belmont, Wellington, Diversey, etc.)
