College has been keeping me busy. I'm quite proud of this scene, however :v Based on a blank anime figure I've seen a couple of times

Tried a new hairstyle for Nettie, I don't really like it

Went to Texas recently, pretty awesome. Tried my best to sketch my environment often, especially in the NASA Museum. Meow Wolf's Radio Tave was the highlight for me, I'll show pictures later (view photo descriptions for further notes)

A traditional pen sketch of NASA's control room. The control room is viewed from a large three panel window that makes up the frame, the only thing outside of the window being a "Quiet Please" sign above in all caps. The bottom of the page consists of the control room tech, being old computer terminals, numerous buttons and panels, and generally technical stuff. The focal point of the room is the large screens, three the biggest and then smaller screens up top. Nothing shows on the screens, as this was before the launch presentation.

Another traditional pen sketch, this time of miscellaneous things. The top one is of my persona, a box headed and fat man with a big nose, button up tshirt, hair that covers my right eye (the other side being buzzed), and wearing a shocked expression as I point towards a Meow Wolf sign in big boxy letters. Next to me is the upper half of my sister's face, she wears a bored expression, her lidded eye lined with spiky eyeliner, hair covering her right eye and the rest in a big bun atop her head. The next sketch is of the back end of an elderly transportation bus, the back side door used for a wheelchair lift and the bumper are noticeably damaged from an off-screen collision in the NASA parking lot (everyone involved was uninjured). The last sketch is of the back of two long haired women both wearing cross-body bags with a window showing another person in yet another window and a poorly drawn NASA symbol. The left woman has long straight hair combed over her left shoulder, she wears a tshirt. The right woman also has straight hair as it cascades over her back, she wears a tanktop that shows a freckle on the back of her arm. I was sadly unable to show them this sketch.

The last couple is of the body bag, which I actually wouldn't change much. I just think there's a little too many floating dudes, so I'd probably put them on a gurney. I did have an idea about cremation though, which I mentally scrapped.

TW SUICIDE The next is of T-Rex guy! I have way too many ideas for this guy. There's already a specimen with a broken neck (Lisa), so I wanted to change his death to mutilation. I would change his introduction scene to a silhouetted bathtub, he'd probably crawl around and leave a trail of blood.

I made Otto aquatic, gave him some clothes, and damaged him to make another water specimen. He would probably swim after you and electrocute the water occasionally. I forgot her name, but she's a forest goddess or something. I just turned her into a furry, she's pretty awesome otherwise.

The last page is entirely dedicated to more specimens, though two are from Karamari Hospital. The first two are of Otto the Otter, which I also really like but am similarly bummed. It's clearly a joke specimen, which I like, but clearly came from a place of obligation than love.

The next is of the beef demon, which I like but I'm kinda bummed that it didn't go for more cow inspiration in its design when it's stated that it's made entirely out of beef. So I just gave him clothes, made him fat because I can, and gave him a cow skull which I poorly drew.

Remember that Spooky's Mansion redesign? Rewatched PakPak's video essays about it and brainstormed some ideas at work. My notes are below:

A traditional messy black pen sketch of a person's face, gooey tendrils sprout from each open orifice (eyes, ears, nose, and mouth). The eyeless sockets bulge, small stretch marks grace the cheeks, and you can see the person's thin teeth through the slime. The text states that the host for the slime varies on each rechase. Unrelated sketches are pictured as well, including a labeled keychain saying work and a small, undetailed man.

Another traditional and messy pen sketch of a fat fast food employee with a poorly drawn cow skull for a head and his only viewed hand presenting a burger on a plate. Most of his fat gathers in his stomach and thighs. He wears a polo shirt and pants. The only seen empty eye socket drips a dark liquid. He's seen amongst a couple other sketches, being a large key, someone's butt, and an alien's head.

A full page of traditional pen sketches. Went to the Grand Canyon the other day, decided to try doing some people studies and sketches while waiting on the train. Most weren't great, but this couple was a wonderful subject. They ended up loving it so I gave it to them. Might do some Star Trek stuff inspired by the canyon.

More art upon ye. I really like Spooky's House of Jumpscares and wanted to put my spin on some of the characters, I'm working on the t-rex dude currently, but I finished and am really proud of Ringu here. :p
