One of the two cats I left with mum passed away recently. She was 20 years old. Mum tried to resuscitate, but I think she realised it was her time to go. She died in her favourite spot, with the other cat guarding her.😢 Mum buried her in her other favourite spot, in the garden.

I've been wanting to build a #Magic deck around Kenrith, The Returned King, for years - I can never finalise the deck though :S The Birds, Cats, Lifegain, X Spells and Angels decks were easier to build by comparison. I seem to struggle with more colours in the colour identity.

A reference sheet for Anwen, depicting her snow leopard, who has long red hair, pink lower extremities, gold earrings and hairties

This story still annoys me, Back in school I once had to write lines for... not knowing how to swim. Then got detention for pointing out that they could have just taught me, like they had previously told me they were going to do (but never did). They'd also permanently closed the pool that year.

We're finally making progress on building our Birds Landfall Magic Deck, featuring "Choco, Seeker of Paradise". The deck box and sleeves arrived today, and the proxies should arrive tomorrow. #Commander #EDH #Magic

Well, The video part of my Minecraft lets play youtube series is doing well, the audio part still needs work. Haven't posted the videos for the next games as the audio quality is bad. I have over 3 hours of video I am going to have to re-record audio for.

Basic Roleplaying Creatures comes out this week. I'm not going to say it has all the world's monsters (boom tish) but it sure does have a lot, and these beasts are good to for any @chaosium.bsky.social game you play. My blog post reveals the table of contents: scary monsters, with some super creeps.

Table Tales - BRP Creatures: something monstrous this way comes

I won’t lie to you. When I saw Jason Durall's sneaky photo of a huge stack of the new Basic Roleplaying: Creatures book making its pre-release debut at Essen, my first thought was “I can’t wait to att...

swear my sleep is worse with the mandibular realignment splint, and having to realign my jaw when I wake up is taking some getting used to. I would rather just have surgery to reduce the size of my soft palate like my grade 4 teacher did between school years.

My social battery is still dead from #PAXAUS 2025 on the weekend

What I thought was Hay Fever, and/or a dust allergy, seems to have morphed into something else entirely. Least I have a warm cat to keep me company. #PAXAUS is this weekend too, and I am booked to go...

After Animaga on the weekend (A Melbourne Anime convention) I can now say that I have tried the Digimon TCG, and Grand Archive. Going to try to play the Gundam TCG and One Piece TCG at PAXAUS. Also super exhausted and sore, but was a fun time.

I am working on an app that will help me keep track of my #Magic #MTG collection. There's plenty of similar apps, but I wanted something I could work on and use myself to keep my coding skills fresh.

I think I am losing interest in #MagicTheGathering after a prerelease on the weekend. Had more fun opening the boosters than versing other players, especially when all my games seemed to be against pro players.

As a former convention organiser, I am always surprised by the actions of some conventions. Vague post I know, but I have seen things in the years I've helped organise conventions.

I hope whoever is reviewing the development of the Melbourne Airport Line lets it continue, Victoria badly needs an airport line.

I play #Magic The Gathering when I can. My favorite format is Commander, though keep to try others. We often play with the house rules; Max poison counters are 20, up from 10. Free mulligans til you have at least 3 lands - the same system as used by rules committee.

Twitter got so toxic in the last few years, even before a certain person bought Twitter. Was fostering so much negativity that it was no surprise that myself and others left. Also: Here's a picture of a cat that stole my heart.

A picture of a mostly white cat, with a black tail and black eyebrows complaining there is no food on her slaves desk.
