The new Modulosphere prototype can be used as an "area of effect" for modulation, but it also has some parameters of its own, such as "attract/repel" which can be used to push away or pull in body objects.

I was playing around with a preset I shared earlier, basically just modulating the sphere in different dimensions, and suddenly the sound turned from a plucky bass thing into... this. :)

Something a bit more abstract! This system has two modulospheres, moving around randomly with an S&H LFO, triggering mallets that they hit. This will randomly generate sounds like this forever like a CPU-hungry wind chime.

Another of my first experiments with the Modulosphere. Here I started with the Insanely Long String factory preset, and added a sphere. The position of the sphere is modulated by a note follower, so higher notes push it further to the far end of the string, and lower notes pull it to the near end.

This is the very first EARLY demo of my prototype for the "Modulosphere." I talked about this idea in the 1.0 launch notes; it's a sphere that applies any modulation to the objects inside of it, with a configurable radius and feather so that objects closer to the center are affected more strongly.

The 1.0.3 release (currently in preview) has gravity, which can be set per-Body to ludicrous values, and also can be modulated at audio rate. This preset uses gravity modulation to vibrate a chain of masses to get some extremely fun sounds.

Version 0.9.33 is out, and it has a bunch of arbitrarily-routable audio FX, including reverb. I like the 3D model for the vaporwave reverb so much I decided to create 48 of them to see how it would look, and randomized their parameters to get this weird dreamy thing. :D

The reason why Anukari's default visuals are clouds in a beautiful blue sky and shiny metal spheres almost certainly goes back to me growing up using Bryce3D. The visuals can be completely customized in case that's not your vibe. :)

Sometimes people see demos of complex Anukari presets and worry that you have to be super technical to use it. That's not the case at all! It's a ton of fun to explore what you can do with even the most simple presets. (Of course if you are in the mood to go ultra deep... that's there too.)

An orchestra of Anukaris! This is just Anukari running in Ableton with some basic automation, no other plugins or effects. The main instrument plugins are run through Ableton's two main buses into two Anukari effect plugins for global reverb/delay effects.
