I see two extreme views here. Imagine the outrage if asymptomatic carriers claimed Covid didn't kill people. While vaccines are effective, individual responses may vary. Ignoring these struggles on fuels denialism. Vaccine dosing and schedule alternatives should be reviewed and made available.

Some people, like my son, actually experienced side effects from vaccines. I believe there is a middle ground, starting with listening to those affected and urging vaccine companies, who currently face no liability and have little incentive to serve the minority, to address their concerns.

Some people experience side effects from vaccines and feel unheard and dismissed. As individuals, we respond differently. Covid was a perfect example with some being asymptomatic while others were dying. Acknowledgement and flexibility in vaccine schedules may reverse the anti vaccine sentiments.

IMO DEMs avoided auditing the election results because they don’t want to undermine trust in the process after Trump’s baseless claims of rigged elections. The GOP often exploit the fact that Democrats play by the rules. So they can attempt election interference knowing they won't get much pushback.

Dictators take away the guns so Trump has already indicated the desire to take some away. He will also take away other powers as well. I was born in a communist country where religion was illegal, companies were all government owned, and the rich were jailed. So there are lots of possibilities.

That is quite a generalization. Perhaps it's accurate in business because massive gains come from knowing how to exploit the work of others. But in other professions, such as the music industry, their net worth comes from their own personal talent and ability to sell music, so some are altruistic.

So, what can we do? 1️⃣ Stay informed. Orbán relied on disinformation to hide his power grabs. Support independent outlets (@propublica.org is a great one) and amplify factual reporting. Push back on lies. Whether it’s Trump’s fraud claims or attacks on free speech, truth is resistance.

True, but they can also remove him. There’s a reason Trump didn’t want Vance as his VP...Vance could invoke the 25th Amendment to oust Trump and take over the presidency. The idea of enacting it came up during Trump’s first administration, and there’s even more justification for it now.

Thanks for the warning! 🤣 On a serious note, everyone respond differently to vaccines, medication and viruses. Just look at COVID, where outcomes ranged from asymptomatic to fatal. I’m sensitive to medications, and my son needed a revised vaccine schedule as a baby. More flexibility is needed!
