Anton Cruysheer @antoncruysheer.bsky.social · 25/11/2024Working on this nice coin of Count Floris V of Holland (1256–1296). The symbol of three dots in the obverse legend measures just about 1 mm. How did they manage to engrave this onto a coin die? It's possibly done with the aid of a magnifying glass and an extremely fine burin (engraving tool). 010
