Antoine Langeard on environmental fall risk hazards - nice work with photo diaries highlighting mostly uneven flooring, poor maintenance and obstacles which did not seem to differ between old and young, but fallers & those with fear of falls seemed to perceive fewer and different hazards #ISPGR2015

Our study on blood biomarkers and gait speed in older adults has been accepted in Brain, Behavior, and Immunity! We used machine learning to identify key biomarkers (like IL-6 and CRP) that predict slow gait speed. Full details coming soon. #Aging #BloodBiomarkers #GeronSky #falls #gait
