Messiaen was of course an incredible improviser, notably as organist of Église de la Sainte-Trinité, Paris for 61 years. Combining the Quartet for the End of Time with improvisations by genius musicians Jon Hopkins, Leo Abrahams and Maddie Ashman seems only natural…

Find it surprising that no major newspapers seem to have reported that @artscouncilengland.bsky.social’s Grantium application system has been down since 23.7.25 and will not be up until mid Sept. They’ve put measures in place for people who are already funded etc. But (cont.)

I can think of no better way to revitalize Britain's flagging economy than by going all in on an enormously expensive technology of doubtful accuracy and reliability, trained on data scraped from the internet without regard to copyright and data protection. What could possibly go wrong?
