Garden of the Gods! saw a gopher snake, several deer, great horned owls, a rattlesnake, and others. returned to the park later because it was sunny again, which turned out to be a great idea also had In-N-Out for the first time in nearly 2 years #photography #colorado

the first week of my 2026 RV trip, which was mostly driving from NC to Colorado! went ziplining, drove by Cairo IL, visited the Joplin EF-5 memorial, saw several storms, passed through Greensburg, saw a fighter jet, and more! since these, even more has happened which i'll share later #photography

OH ALSO YOU'RE CANADIAN most apps are US only (cus we have the best meteorological industry by far, one of the very few things we're great at lol), radarscope has canadian stuff, carrot has canadian stuff (and you can connect directly to have ECCC forecasts)

i use a ton of websites for stuff, but for my regular mainstream weather app i use CARROT. fantastic app, premium is $20/yr so pretty cheap, free version is fine

there's also weatherwise, which is promoted heavily by ryan hall but i've never used it there's radaromega, don't use it there's plenty of others, though the rest don't necessarily have the full NEXRAD fleet of genuine products (radar smoothing sucks!!)

like all other good radar apps, unfortunately no. it's $10 (or less idk been a long time) base, then for tier 1 it's pretty cheap (forgot the price, but it's not a lot), but then for tier 2 (what i have) it's $100/yr (~$8.33/mo) wxfront is the same price, though the base version has a lot more

driving into the dark foreboding clouds will always unearth the childlike wonder i had with the weather, but instead of analyzing model runs and looking at radarscope i opened the weather app and saw there was a thunderstorm icon and got excited
