A “hard truth to deal with”. This is the same logic as in the Nazis’ “euthanasia” program which had the goal of killing “unworthy lives” to “cleanse the people” and lift a financial burden from society

The picture compares the “daily cost to the government” of one “genetically defective person”, which is 5.50 Reichsmark, with the money a “genetically healthy” family of 5 needs to live, which is also 5.50 Reichsmark.

As the year comes to a close, here’s an overview of the number of #merger filings received by the German #competition authority. We're approaching 900 filings per year, which is more than in 2022 and 2023 but still significantly fewer than before the adjustment of the filing thresholds in 2021.
