It is easy to read and hold in your mind, and understand what has happened somewhat intuitively. It also doesn't carry a lot of problematic baggage(yet) so I would probably use it in my own stories too. 000

The vcr part you can ignore if you are just gaming. 90% of the time they need a good cleaning. Get all the dust off with canned air, and a bit of "pot cleaner", a spray can for cleaning potentiometers u can find at music stores (for amps) 210
