Happy Truffle Thursday!🍄💀🥘 Fun facts about our 2 main grim reapers: -Their mental age is 17-20, but they’ve been alive for…a LOT longer. -reapers can eat almost anything but really enjoy foods that are fatal to humans -reapers can perish under specific circumstances #indieanimation #AntipastoShow

Happy Hyphae Wednesday!🍄💀🥘 Grim Reapers don’t get sick usually (at least not with human ailments), but even a reaper as stubborn as Capper strives to rest when they aren’t feeling well (in body or in head). Reapers want the living cared for just as much as the dead. #indieanimation #AntipastoShow

Happy Hyphae Wednesday!🍄💀🥘 Though grim reapers can eat almost anything, Capper sticks to a pretty bland diet of raw mushrooms and plain grains. They used to have lovely meals together with their partners. But now that they've all gone their separate ways...Capper can't bear to cook. #indieanimation

Happy Mycelium Monday! 🍄💀🥘 Ahhh so much rain here in NY! We're excited for it to clear out so we can see what mushroom friends pop up :3 If you've been in the bad weather this weekend, stay safe! Even Capper would hunker down in their cottage. (Art by @kalico-of-doom.bsky.social ) #indieanimation

Close up of Capper's cottage -- log cottage with shingled roof covered in moss. There's a stone chimney as well. The yard is fenced in with some trees and a small garden in front.

Happy Fungi Friday!🍄💀🥘 Reasons Bridget wants to be human-reaper besties with Capper: -Capper is far too alone in their remote cottage -Bridget would like a new person to cook for -Gilbert loves when they hang out together! -Friendship is magic! (Art by @madelezabeth.bsky.social ) #indieanimation

Bridget and Capper together. Bridget has olive skin, brown eyes and hair. She's wearing her camp uniform and an apron and holding a whisk covered in batter as she tries to touch Capper's scythe. Capper has pale skin and black hair and green eyes. They're wearing their black cowl and holding their scythe away from Bridget with an annoyed look.

It would be 9 half hour eps in total (though I think of like ep 9 to maybe be more like 45 min to an hour). We’re going for a ‘nine levels of Dante’s inferno’ thing since that work is an inspiration for the show ^^ Plus it takes place over the 3 months of summer, so 3 eps for each month 💜
