Everyone is OK, but today we had a kiddo accidentally board a bike bus for the wrong school. I'm so thankful to the other school for figuring it out and getting the kiddo safely to the right place but also this is such a Portland accident that I'm dying.

Oh, they have been saying up to TWENTY to be closed most recently! At that scale I think it won't matter if a kid's current school specifically is closed. It's going to be a cluster for the whole system. (20 out of 81 schools!) www.opb.org/article/2026...

Aw man, I'm sorry you guys are going through it this year! I will say, I do prefer to have SOME reaction to the vax. This year I had NOTHING -- like, not even a sore arm to the double jab, and now I'm like, "uh.... did it work? Did we do it wrong somehow?" I usually have SOME side effects!

I had pretty good luck last weekend, although it was still a little dry, and it was obvious other hunters had been out before. Mostly I would have had even better luck if my wee mushroom companion didn't get pooped out way too fast.
