So I just got this pop up on Tiktok and don't really know what to do of it... Especially since most non-US accounts do not have access to the TikTok Shop and I doubt my frozen account would be of interest for anyone. #Tiktok #tiktokshop #socialmedia #downfall

I haven't been active here since I have no pictures to post but I have a few things to say. Since I stopped posting on Tiktok, the app is trying its best to convince me into making content again. "Look at this comment of your most viewed vid from over 3 years ago, come on, react to it!" #clingy

Making videos without a script is tricky but it's how I've always done it. This leads to many takes because I forgot something or botched a pronunciation. Here's a perfect example of this happening:

Hey there, I heard you liked snow. I can't explain in words how much I enjoyed being able to have snow this winter. For sure it's nothing compared to what I had in Canada, but it's more than I had in a few years and that counts. #furry #fursuit #realisticfursuit #snowtiger #snow

Unlike other parts of France, we are not experiencing snowfall lately. However, like most of the country we have freezing temperatures and the trees are covered in ice crystals. I like the vibes. #winter #fir #pine #winterforest

A little break down on the 3 outcome sniff test videos: The bad one (also the longest video) has the most views & most comments, understandably. The good one, surprisingly, appeared significantly less on everyone's feed. The neutral one is close second but with way less comments. #furry #socialmedia

The reporting system on certain social media platforms is total BS. Here I stumbled across an account pretending to make fursuit commissions & selling premades by re-uploading content made by mutuals. They are trying to scam people. ... "No violation found" #scammer #furry #fursuitmaking #scam

I was wondering if that algorithm was still showing the Bible video from 2022 (because it still showed it to new accounts a few months ago). To my relief, only my last few videos had new views. However, said view count is... well see for yourself.

When creating content, I use the main camera on my phone and not the selfie cam. This makes it impossible to check if I'm properly in frame while recording, resulting in me having to record and check multiple takes before being satisfied by the result. And sometimes I get multiple funny results:

Haven't posted here in a while, sorry for that. Here's a little look into social media and how algorithms treat content. Funny. Especially considering my followers count on Tiktok is over 5 times the one I have on Instagram. Very funny. *sigh*

Here's a comparison of reach between two platforms at the same moment. On the first my account has over 44k followers, on the second it has 5k. The numbers under each thumbnail are the amount of views. I would also like to point out that I make absolutely no money off of my content. #contentcreation

I lost one of my best friends. One of my own. A companion who followed me his whole life. He brutally fell sick a day ago, to the point I had to put him down tonight. My poor deaf kitten, my soft white cat, my big guy. Alaska would have been 12 in May. I can't put in words how much this hurts.

And at the end of the 10 days, the period I had planned to monitor, that is where all the videos stood. I'll check back on these 4 videos occasionally or unless something interesting happens

In the last few days the Spanish video got shared again to its intended public, allowing it to detach itself from the French one, but sadly never to the point of catching up with the English video anymore.

Approximately 36 hours after posting all 4 vids, a new phenomenon appeared in the comments section: A drastic increase in French speakers first stumbled upon the French video. The Germans however still get the English video served, as do the Spanish speakers #experiment #tiktokexperiment

So, with US-American censorship on Tiktok now reaching foreign accounts (in this case one based in the UK, for adding the Union Jack to their display name and it's not an isolated event) comes the question: «where to go?» I have no answer yet #tiktokban #newtiktok #censorship #overreach
